The Cuban rock musician Gorki Carrasco challenged the political elite in cuba through his punk music and his way of life in 2003 the authorities accused him of selling drugs.He denied the charge, and the evidence against him was weak.Even so, he was sentenced to four years in prison. He has continued to criticize the govermentsince his release.
