Magnhild graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 1998 and has worked as a dancer, choreographer and videographer in England, Norway, Russia and India before she went to Lebanon in 2006.
Her last performance “Don’t Panic”, is based on personal experience of the outbreak of the July War in Lebanon. The performance gives you an impression of the emotional states of being subjected to a crises like this. Her position as somebody from outside, a tourist lets her ask questions about the situation The performance centers on her relation to a life-size headless doll sometimes connected to a rope from the ceiling in a space dominated by the image of an information board from an airport.
